About the Role

Jubilee Insurance is recruiting 10 Business Technology Services Interns to join the Business Technology Services (BTS) department in Kenya. This internship position offers hands-on experience supporting the organisation’s digital transformation initiatives across cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, application support, quality assurance, and innovation programmes. You will work on assigned projects that balance learning with meaningful contribution to the department’s operational goals.

As an intern in this Business Technology Services Interns (10) Posts at Jubilee Insurance programme, you will handle tasks ranging from low to medium complexity, helping reduce departmental backlogs while building foundational skills in modern technology environments. The role is structured to develop a pipeline of skilled graduates while maintaining operational continuity and encouraging knowledge sharing across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure management across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Assist with enterprise architecture design tasks, including the creation and review of architecture diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
• Support business application environments and contribute to system quality assurance activities using industry-standard testing tools such as Jira.
• Participate in data management and workflow mapping exercises to improve process efficiency.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives through J-Hub, including prototyping and user research activities.
• Perform user support functions and prepare clear, accurate documentation for processes and findings.
• Monitor systems and applications using designated monitoring tools and escalate issues appropriately.
• Support UI/UX improvement projects using design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Architecture, Business Information Systems, Software Development, Design, Innovation Management, or UX/UI from a recognised institution.
• Foundational understanding of cloud platforms, including hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services.
• Working knowledge of architecture principles and diagramming tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with application testing and project tracking tools, particularly Jira or similar systems.
• Basic competence with UI/UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD, and user research methodologies.
• Knowledge of data management concepts and workflow analysis techniques.
• Demonstrable customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly in written form.
• Strong attention to detail when handling data and mapping business processes. Experience or coursework in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Neural Networks is advantageous.
