Job Purpose
- The incumbent will be responsible for providing academic and character development support/guidance to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Deputy Principal or any other designated authority, the Biology/Geography teacher shall be:
- Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students’ understanding of the subjects including practical sessions.
- Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
- Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
- Assessment of students, grading assignments and quizzes and assessments in a timely manner.
- Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
- Documenting and reporting on students’ progress.
- Compiling, reporting and communicating with parents regarding academics, character and general wellbeing of students.
- Prepare students for final IGCSE examination.
- To provide biblical instructions and discipline to students towards character building.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned to them.

- Timely registration of each IGCSE student.
- Syllabus completion on time.
- High client satisfaction rating.
- Timely and successful graduation of each student.
- 100% compliance to all regulations applicable.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required
- Bachelor of Education. Biology & Geography subject combination.
- Must be TSC registered.
- Computer proficiency.
- At least 2 years’ experience in British curriculum.
- ACE training as an added advantage.
