Bancassurance Team Leader at Progressive Credit

Job Purpose 

• Responsible for the delivery of Insurance business performance through effective selling, excellent customer   Service and execution of operational intermediary services to the customers.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Undertake market research in order to identify and recommend competitive products and services.
• Source and secure new businesses, building and managing a customer portfolio
• To provide leadership and comprehensively manage the activities of the Agency
• Plan , organize and coordinate day to day running of the Agency
• Handle all insurance administrative duties
• Ensure new clients are provided with quotations and continuous follow up is in place
• Respond to customer enquiries and handle customer claims
• Provide reports on the state of business to the management
• Increase management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling and disciplining staff.
• Developing and maintaining good work relationships with clients, primarily insurance company and  other partners.
• Gaining new business by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bsc in business related field in Business administration, Marketing,  Finance, or Insurance
• Hold relevant insurance certifications, such as the Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) or a
• Diploma in Insurance (ACII or AIIK).
• At least five (3) years’ work experience in Insurance Sales and Marketing Certifications
• Sound knowledge of the insurance products and services and IRA regulations
• High level of professionalism, honest with impeccable integrity
• Good Management ability with capacity to grow, support and develop talent within the Agency.
• Proficiency in Digital Marketing:
•  Excellent decision making skills.
