Key Responsibilities

- Reconcile supplier statements against company records and identify and resolve any discrepancies.

- Record incoming customer payments and track outstanding debts to ensure timely collection.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify that account balances match bank statements.
- Maintain organized accounting ledgers, filing systems, and supporting financial documents for audit purposes.
- Assist the payroll department in processing employee payments and maintaining accurate payroll records.
- Prepare monthly accounting schedules and financial reports for management review.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent qualification; accounting-related qualifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience working as an accounts clerk or in a similar accounting clerical role in Kenya.
- Competency in SAP and CBPS systems or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to work with spreadsheets and accounting databases.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, ledger maintenance, and invoice processing.
- Ability to reconcile accounts accurately and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining audit-ready records.
