Job summary:
- The accountant is responsible for keeping and interpreting financial records
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the billing system.
- Generating invoices and account statements for patients and other customers.
- Performing Bank Account reconciliations.
- Maintaining Accounts receivable files and records.
- Reconciliation of NHIF Hospital Account and other assigned insurances.
- Conduct follow-up emails to customers on their bills.
- Tracking all customer payments to ensure remittance within a specified period agreed.
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash among others.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Supervision of clerical staff.
- To be able to perform duties well as may be assigned by the In-charge
