Job summary:

  • The accountant is responsible for keeping and interpreting financial records


  • Maintaining the billing system.
  • Generating invoices and account statements for patients and other customers.
  • Performing Bank Account reconciliations.
  • Maintaining Accounts receivable files and records.
  • Reconciliation of NHIF Hospital Account and other assigned insurances.
  • Conduct follow-up emails to customers on their bills.
  • Tracking all customer payments to ensure remittance within a specified period agreed.
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash among others.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Supervision of clerical staff.
  • To be able to perform duties well as may be assigned by the In-charge
