Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in reservations for a safari tour company and tour operations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with booking systems. Attention to deatail, multitasking ability, and customer-first approach.
  • Knowledge of East Africa destinations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and confirm reservations for flights, hotels, and activities.
  • Liaise with hotels, airlines, and service providers to ensure availability and smooth delivery.
  • Issue hotel vouchers, itineraries, quotations, invoices, and booking confirmations.
  • Assist the sales team in creating itineraries based on client needs.
  • Address booking changes, cancellations, special requests, and emergency support.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to align bookings with company processes.
  • Keep up-to-date digital and physical files for all reservations and related documents.
  • Monitor service standards, gather feedback, and help improve the process.
  • Support training of interns and team members; attend FAM trips and share destination insights.
