Job Description: Graphic Designer

Location: Nairobi / Hybrid

Department: Business Development

Reports to: Marketing & communications

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, creative, and brand‑driven Graphic Designer to bring Adept Technologies visual identity to life across digital and print platforms. This role requires strong design execution skills, a deep understanding of brand systems, and discipline to maintain consistency and accuracy in every delivery. This role also supports content production, digital communication, and social media visual needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Brand & Visual Storytelling

• Translate Adept’s brand story, values, and positioning into compelling visual assets.
• Reinforce brand consistency across internal and external communication touchpoints.
• Support campaigns, product stories, thought leadership, and corporate messaging through visual design/storytelling.

2. Design Execution and Social Media Support

• Produce marketing and corporate materials including social media graphics, posters, flyers, digital ads, templates, reports, and website visuals.
• Collaborate with technical, business development, and marketing teams to understand requirements and bring concepts to life.
• Managing and maintaining the company’s social media pages (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook).
• Scheduling and posting content in coordination with the marketing and communications team
• Assisting with basic performance tracking (reach, engagement, impressions) to inform content improvements.

3. Brand Guidelines & Quality Control

• Apply and protect the company’s brand guidelines.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, layout consistency, and clarity.
• Maintain strong attention to detail.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2–4 years of proven experience in graphic design (agency or in‑house).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, cap cut, video editing, InDesign) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of brand identity systems, typography, and layout.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or related fields.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in graphic design, photography, video graphics, or content creation.
• Strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Cap cut.
• Excellent attention to detail and layout accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
