Admin Assistant at Aberdair Aviation – Aberdair Aviation Kenya Job Details

Reports to: Head of HR, Admin & IT

  • To provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient operations of the office by handling day-to-day office management tasks and capable in multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of petty cash and office related expenditures
  • Support the Finance team with filing, documentation and data entry
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and incoming calls
  • Provide excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the cleanliness and orderliness of the office environment
  • Manage inventory and procurement of stationery, kitchen supplies and hygiene items
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transport
  • Maintain travel schedules, bookings and relevant documentation for the staff and sub-contract
  • Prepare meeting rooms and handle meeting logistics, including refreshments and supplies while taking detailed minutes
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of events to support various projects and initiatives
  • Any other duties as assigned by management within the scope of the position
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Basic knowledge of book keeping
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
