Video Editor (Entry Level, Remote) at Sahara Post Productions

Job Description:

• Sahara Post Productions is seeking a creative and passionate Entry-Level Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in creating engaging and high-quality content for a variety of clients, ranging from corporate videos to social media content, using industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro.

Responsibilities:

• Edit video footage into compelling, high-quality content for various platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, corporate presentations, etc.).
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure consistency with the company’s creative direction and client needs.
• Cut and assemble raw footage, adding sound effects, voiceovers, music, and graphics as needed.
• Make revisions based on feedback from senior editors or clients.
• Assist with color correction, audio syncing, and other post-production tasks.
• Ensure timely delivery of all projects in line with deadlines.
• Stay up to date with the latest editing software, tools, and trends in the industry.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro.
• A laptop or desktop computer, preferably with Windows OS and a minimum of Intel Core 5, 8th Gen or above.
• A keen eye for detail and storytelling.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take direction and implement feedback.
• A portfolio of previous editing work is a plus (this could be personal projects, school work, or freelance gigs).
