Key Responsibilities:

• Handling payroll and calculating and filing of statutory VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, WITHHOLDING VAT, PAYROLL.
• Reconciling orders with receipts/deliveries.
• Preparing & Reconciling statements for suppliers & creditors.
• Liaising with directors on payment schedules.
• Filing receipts as well as handling accounts payables/ receivables.
• Approving credit facility for clients.
• Handling bank and Mpesa reconciliations.
• Petty cash management.
• Reconciling daily and period sales and expenses reports.
• Preparing Petty cash preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports liaising with external auditors for annual audit reports.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Must have at least CPA III, CPAK is an added advantage.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in general accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting system.
• Must have In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations and good analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
• High professional integrity and organizational skills.
• Have a positive attitude and self-drive.
• Proficiency in use of MS Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
