About Ital Global

Our client operates in the Manufacturing Sector and is currently seeking a Staff Van Driver. This role involves transporting staff to their destinations in a safe and timely manner, as well as assisting with other transportation functions within the organization.

Staff Van Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all stakeholders of the organization.
• Establish rapport with contacts at distribution centers and delivery locations.
• Act as a professional representative of the organization during journeys and deliveries.
• Safely deliver and unload goods according to the organization’s health and safety standards.
• Complete any necessary administration related to goods collection and delivery.
• Adhere to the organization’s full Code of Conduct.
• Load and unload materials, goods, and equipment between various destinations as assigned.
• Keep the transportation vehicle clean, orderly, and well-maintained; report any mechanical defects or malfunctions.
• Perform special transports and maintain the assigned vehicle in good working condition.
• Immediately report any incidents that may affect the ability to operate the vehicle.
• Perform pick-up and delivery duties and support daily activities as directed by the supervisor.
• Safely transport employees to and from work zones, following state and local traffic laws.
• Ensure the van is always in safe operating condition by scheduling regular maintenance.
• Maintain a transportation logbook and other necessary documentation for services provided.
• Keep track of fuel usage.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Staff Van Driver Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• A business-related certification and a bachelor’s degree are advantageous.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with at least 3 years of continuous driving experience.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow traffic rules.
• Experience in the Manufacturing sector is a plus.
