Senior Associate, Portfolio Administrator
ICEA Lion Group is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Portfolio Administrator to oversee portfolio administration operations and ensure regulatory compliance across retirement benefit schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee team’s day-to-day operations, track progress towards goals, and report results to management
- Ensure overall scheme compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management, and internal audit standards
- Execute and file service level agreements and deed of adherence for all employers with the regulator
- Maintain compliance with Trust Deed & Rules and regulatory requirements from RBA, KRA, CMA, UFAA, and ARBS
- Coordinate with clients and scheme service providers (Trustee, fund managers, actuary, and auditors)
- Maintain accurate and complete member records
- Validate and process sponsor contributions
- Ensure timely member statement preparation and dispatch
- Calculate and process member withdrawal benefits accurately and promptly
- Track participating employers with outstanding contributions monthly
- Submit accurate quarterly reports to RBA
- Calculate individual transfer and total surrender values for scheme winding up
- Liaise with auditors and service providers for smooth audit processes
- Attend Management Committee meetings on administration issues as required
- Review and recommend system and process enhancements
- Address enquiries from intermediaries and clients promptly
- Assist in preparing management reports for monthly meetings
- Execute other assigned duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputable university
- Professional qualification in Finance (CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum six (6) years’ experience in retirement benefits/schemes administration
