About the Role

Momentum Credit is recruiting a Team Leader (Checkoff Loans) to manage sales operations and lead a team focused on the checkoff loans product line. This is a full-time position based in Nairobi. The Team Leader (Checkoff Loans) at Momentum Credit will be central to driving sales performance and building the referral pipeline that supports the company’s growth in this product segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team by example, demonstrating sales capability and closing deals alongside your agents when required
• Build and sustain a strong referral pipeline to support consistent pipeline flow and new business generation
• Oversee and motivate sales agents to achieve and exceed monthly targets across the checkoff loans portfolio
• Drive monthly and periodic sales targets for the team and ensure accountability at individual and team level
• Represent the Momentum Credit brand with professionalism and integrity in all client and stakeholder interactions
• Ensure team members maintain high standards of conduct and customer engagement aligned with company values

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in sales leadership, with direct involvement in closing deals
• Prior product knowledge or direct experience with checkoff loans is essential
• Demonstrated track record of building and managing referral pipelines
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) or HND qualification
• Strong communication and persuasion skills with the ability to influence both team and clients
• Self-motivated, target-focused, and disciplined approach to work
• High personal integrity and professional standards in all dealings
