About the Role

Moja Expressway Company is recruiting a Light Vehicle Driver for a full-time position based in Nairobi. The Lv Driver at Moja Expressway Company will be responsible for operating light vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic regulations and company standards. This role supports patrol and field enforcement operations across the Nairobi Expressway project, one of Kenya’s major infrastructure developments.

The successful candidate will combine reliable driving skills with practical vehicle management and operational support. You’ll work in a structured environment where safety, compliance, and attention to detail are non-negotiable. This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility across shift patterns and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light vehicles in full compliance with Kenya traffic laws and Moja Expressway Company procedures
• Follow assigned routes and transportation schedules for patrol and enforcement duties
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including fluid checks and brake assessment
• Report mechanical faults, vehicle damage, or safety incidents to management without delay
• Assist in conducting routine and special patrol inspections across assigned areas
• Support on-site operations, including traffic control setup and worksite safety coordination
• Park vehicles correctly at work sites and deploy warning signals where required
• Complete additional operational tasks as directed by supervision

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Kenya driving license, Class C1 or higher category
• Minimum 3–5 years of documented driving experience with a clean safety record
• No major traffic accidents, traffic violations, or incidents involving alcohol or reckless driving
• Good physical health; no color blindness or color vision deficiency
• Ability to work day shifts, night shifts, and rotating shift schedules as required
• No criminal record and no history of dishonesty or legal sanctions
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent qualification
• Willingness to comply with company safety protocols and vehicle maintenance standards
