About the Role

Indomie is recruiting a Warehouse and Logistics Head to lead operations at its Nairobi facility. This is a full-time position responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination across the supply chain. You’ll oversee a team, maintain stock accuracy, optimize workflows, and ensure products reach customers and distributors on schedule and within budget. The role sits within the procurement and supply chain function and offers the chance to shape logistics operations at one of Kenya’s leading FMCG brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing, and dispatch functions.
• Establish and enforce stock control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy across all product lines.
• Manage the physical layout and storage systems to maximize warehouse space utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse and logistics staff, ensuring clear performance standards and professional growth.
• Coordinate with sales, production, procurement, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Oversee transportation arrangements and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers where required.
• Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics and key performance indicators to senior management.
• Drive initiatives that reduce operational costs, streamline processes, and improve overall warehouse performance.
• Ensure all warehouse, health, safety, and quality compliance standards are met and documented.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and transport logistics planning.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications for data analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, plan strategically, organize complex operations, and solve problems under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments and external partners.
• Strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering measurable results.
