Open Positions
Admissions & Discharges Office – Team Lead
- Oversee the pre-authorisation and authorisation process for patient insurance coverage
- Direct and supervise the daily admissions workflow and coordinate patient discharge procedures
- Lead and manage the admissions office team, ensuring adherence to protocols and service standards
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to admissions and patient throughput
Driver
- Transport patients, hospital staff, and medical supplies safely and on schedule
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues
- Maintain accurate transport logs and ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Operate vehicles professionally while adhering to hospital standards and local road conditions
General Requirements
Admissions & Discharges Office – Team Lead:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Health Records & Information Management, Business Administration (Healthcare focus), or equivalent Diploma
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in hospital front office operations, admissions management, or medical billing
- Proficiency in Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) or similar healthcare software
- Sound knowledge of Kenya’s Social Health Insurance (SHIF) framework and corporate/insurance billing procedures
- Demonstrated analytical and communication skills with the ability to lead a team
- Patient-centred service approach and commitment to quality care delivery
Driver:
- Valid Kenyan Driving Licence with the appropriate vehicle class endorsements
- Minimum 3 years of active commercial driving experience in a professional capacity
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by Kenya Police
- KCSE Certificate or equivalent educational qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of Nakuru’s road network and transport routes
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
- Fluency in both English and Kiswahili; physical fitness to perform duties and flexibility to work variable hours
