About the Role
Progressive Credit is recruiting for a Branch Manager – Nairobi to lead operations at one of its key microfinance branches in Nairobi. This is a full-time position responsible for driving branch performance, managing a team, and ensuring sustainable growth in a competitive microfinance sector. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of branch operations while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
As Branch Manager – Nairobi at Progressive Credit, you will report to senior management and serve as the primary liaison between head office and branch staff. Key Responsibilities

- Recruit, coach, and manage branch staff using structured performance reviews, ongoing training, and talent development initiatives to create a capable and motivated team.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related business field.
- Minimum 4 years of direct experience in a Branch Manager or equivalent senior management role.
- Proven working experience in the microfinance sector, including loan portfolio management and branch operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with staff, customers, and regulators.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in all professional dealings and financial management.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment, compliance frameworks, and microfinance best practices.
