Suyian Ranch is seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide comprehensive IT support, maintenance, and specialized programming across multiple conservancies. The role includes managing general IT infrastructure, Digital Radio Networks (DRN), LoRa WAN, and Earth Ranger systems. Travel between conservancies is required to maintain reliable communication and data infrastructure.
Job Description
Scope of Work:
- IT Maintenance & Programming: Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain all IT infrastructure (desktops, laptops, wifi, servers). Perform updates, backups, security checks, and install/configure systems and applications.
- Digital Radio Network: Program, maintain, and troubleshoot the DRN, including repeater sites and power systems, ensuring optimal field coverage.
- LoRa WAN Network: Program, maintain, and monitor LoRa WAN infrastructure (Gateways and sensors) for optimal performance and data transmission.
- Specialized Systems: Provide essential troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support for the Earth Ranger software platform, ensuring reliable operation for conservation and security.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate inventory, manage all Radio licenses, and create detailed documentation for networks and procedures.

- Minimum 3 years in IT support/network administration.
