Website Marketing Executive at Serena Hotels Primary Responsibilities

1. Overseeing and managing the company’s Online Payment Systems, ensuring smooth operations, and providing support to both guests and internal users.
2. Ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for online payments to maintain efficiency and security.
3. Managing and updating content on various direct online channels, including the Serena Hotels corporate website and booking engines.
4. Handling Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the corporate website to improve its visibility and reach.
5. Managing Google Business listings for all Serena Africa properties to enhance their online presence and accessibility.
6. Monitoring website analytics to generate informative business reports on website traffic, user acquisition, and demographics.
7. Actively engaging in the review of digital marketing opportunities and exploring new e-technology trends that can benefit the business.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

1. An Undergraduate Degree in Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT), Information Technology (IT), or Computer Science.
2. Additional certification or a diploma in Marketing or Digital Marketing would be advantageous.
3. Proficiency in website maintenance, with knowledge of programming languages such as Java and PHP, and experience in using web/internet applications is beneficial.
4. Familiarity with managing online payments and Fintech solutions is a plus.
5. Knowledge of Digital Marketing principles and trends would be advantageous.
6. A minimum of 3 years experience in Hospitality or a related Industry, providing valuable insights and understanding of the sector’s dynamics.
