Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers to transform UI/UX wireframes into functional web pages.
- Create responsive, mobile-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate interactive elements and animations for enhanced user engagement.
- Employ front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) to streamline development processes.
- Extend website capabilities by integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Ensure optimal performance and cross-browser compatibility across devices and platforms.
- Test and debug websites to identify and resolve issues.
- Enhance website speed and performance for seamless user experiences.
- Update existing websites with new content, features, and enhancements.
- Coordinate with back-end developers to integrate front-end and server-side components.
- Stay current with emerging web development trends and technologies.
- Adhere to industry best practices for code quality and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members.
- Document code, processes, and technical specifications for future reference.
Academic Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field.

Experience
- Possesses a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience as a Web Developer or in a comparable position.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Basic knowledge of back-end programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby) and databases.
- Solid grasp of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Previous exposure to content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous.
