Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a warm and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they arrive.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on menu items, daily specials, and current promotions to help guests make informed choices.
• Record food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation.
• Serve meals and drinks according to restaurant service standards, ensuring orders reach the correct tables within expected timeframes.
• Address customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to supervisors when required.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process payments via cash, card, or digital platforms while maintaining transaction accuracy.
• Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining proper setup of cutlery, napkins, glasses, and condiments throughout service.
• Support opening and closing procedures, assist with inventory checks, and help replenish service items as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in a restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality setting.
• Proficiency with POS systems for billing, payment processing, and transaction reconciliation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Solid numeracy and cash-handling abilities; accuracy in billing is essential.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays with flexibility and commitment to team objectives.
• Well-groomed appearance, strong attention to detail, and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Proven ability to perform under pressure while maintaining service quality and consistency.
