Key Responsibilities

• Operate tipper trucks to transport construction materials and aggregates to designated sites and delivery points
• Follow assigned routes and adhere to delivery schedules, ensuring materials arrive on time and in good condition
• Supervise safe loading, transport, and offloading of materials, taking personal responsibility for cargo security
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues or damage
• Report faults, damages, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly to prevent operational delays
• Maintain the tipper truck in clean and roadworthy condition at all times
• Comply with all traffic regulations, speed limits, and company transport policies while on duty
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, fuel usage reports, and delivery documentation for reconciliation with supervisors

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience operating tipper trucks in construction or quarry environments
• Valid, current Driving License with clean traffic record
• Proven track record of reliable truck operation and safe handling of heavy vehicles
• Working knowledge of construction materials, quarry operations, and hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with computerized truck controls and modern vehicle monitoring systems
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, for communication with supervisors and site managers
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and demonstrated commitment to defensive driving practices
• Physical fitness and ability to assist with loading and unloading of materials as required
• Excellent time management, route planning, and communication skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to work within a team environment
