JOB SUMMARY

• To effectively handle customer transactions over the counter by delivering excellent client service and maximizing client solutions.

Duties and responsibilities

• Receiving and counting working cash at beginning and end of shift
• Accepting cash and cheques for deposits and check accuracy of deposit slip
• Processing cash withdrawals
• Performing specialized tasks such as updating daily journals, attend to customers diligently, and doing random checks on notes validity
• Recording all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with SACCO procedures
• Balancing cash and cheques in cash drawer at end of each shift
• Answering inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products
• Performing any other duties that may be assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Academic Qualifications

• Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (C) Plain
• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field.
• CPA an added advantage
• Age 28 – 35 years

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar position
