Telesales Agent Role Description

As the Telesales Agent, you will report to the Telesales Team Lead and play a crucial role in SunCulture’s growth by delivering expert guidance and information to potential customers about our diverse product range. Your focus will be on boosting sales revenue and profitability through exceptional customer service, employing a consultative sales approach that’s informed and persuasive. In addition to sales, you’ll also handle troubleshooting and complaint escalation across various communication channels. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with a strong grasp of computer operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed monthly KPI targets, including Lead generation, Lead conversion, Sales targets, and Talk-time, aiming for over 70% achievement.
  • Connect with potential and existing customers, businesses, and groups to provide accurate information about SunCulture products, utilizing your product knowledge.
  • Explain the technical features of our products and address customer queries related to SunCulture products.
  • Take the initiative to generate your own leads beyond those provided by SunCulture, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential customers.
  • Maintain at least an 80% conversion rate from leads you’ve generated.
  • Make extensive outbound calls aligned with the organization’s KPIs.
  • Customize sales scripts to effectively address the needs and preferences of specific individuals.
  • Respond to customer correspondence via mail, direct messages, and phone calls, and diligently follow up on initial sales contacts.
  • Strive to exceed daily and hourly talk-time targets set by SunCulture.
  • Conduct client and market surveys to gather insights about potential customers, enhancing customer experience assessment and affordability evaluation.
  • Instill a sense of urgency among potential customers to encourage prompt purchasing decisions.
  • Use the 3CX system for all incoming and outgoing calls to streamline call tracking and quality management.
  • Actively participate in scheduled training sessions to enhance your skills and customer relationships.

Desired Qualifications and Traits

  • Experience in Sales and Customer Service
  • Additional background as a Telesales Representative is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales quotas, preferably through phone-based interactions
  • Proficiency in relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to grasp product details and effectively explain them to prospects
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and skilled in execution
  • Strong Communication Skills for issue resolution and complaint handling
  • Keen interest in irrigation, with industry knowledge adaptable to SunCulture
  • Independent thinker with proactive decision-making abilities
  • Comfortable in dynamic environments and adaptable to change
  • Capable of handling pressure, maintaining composure, and managing rejection gracefully
  • Organized with exceptional time management skills, committed to meeting deadlines
  • A diploma or degree in Sales or a related field is an added advantage.
