Senior Strategy Manager – Mobility at M-KOPA Solar Job Purpose
We are in search of a dynamic and high-capacity individual to fill the role of Senior Strategy Manager – Mobility. As the ideal candidate, you possess the ability to tackle strategic high-level business challenges with executives and board members, while also being skilled at refining the finer details of business operational processes in the field.
Reporting to the Director of Mobility, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading significant strategic and operational projects for the Mobility business, both internally and externally. These projects will drive improvements in commercial, operational, credit, and financial aspects.
- Conducting strategic analysis in various areas such as business model design, customer and market research, supply chain, pilot design, process improvement, strategic partnerships, and credit management.
- Utilizing advanced data analytics, modeling, data visualization, and your field experience to comprehend complex problems. You will then present practical and easily implementable solutions and recommendations.
- Acting as a strategic partner to the Mobility Senior Leadership team, contributing valuable insights and guidance.
- Being an inspiring and influential manager within our Mobility team, fostering growth and development among team members.
Incumbent Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and experiences:
- Have at least 2 years of experience in strategy or management consulting at a top international or cross-market firm.
- Possess prior experience in a related asset financing, electric mobility, consumer credit, or direct sales business.
- Ideally, have experience working in Kenya or similar markets where M-KOPA operates.
- Demonstrate advanced analytical, statistical, business intelligence, and data visualization skills. Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to manage complex spreadsheets, is essential.
- Show expertise in research-related roles, including primary research methodologies, experiment design and evaluation, and statistical analysis, used to drive data-driven decision-making in a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary, as you will be engaging with executives across various cross-functional teams and geographies.
- Exhibit the ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously and deliver high-quality outputs.
