The main objective of this role is to oversee and coordinate the security measures for all Company assets and property.
- Implementing security practices and procedures within the Company premises.
- Patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment to secure premises and personnel.
- Coordinating and planning security operations.
- Collaborating with the police on security matters and preparing comprehensive security reports.
- Coordinating with inspection and legal offices for arrest and prosecution.
- Periodically checking CCTV surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful activities.
- Conducting security checks and operations at satellite offices on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring that outsourced security firms fulfill their responsibilities as expected by the Company.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry trends.
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferably, a Diploma in Criminology or Forensic Studies from a recognized institution.
- An additional advantage would be a degree in Criminology or Forensic Studies from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the Police/Military service.
- Must meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya, particularly in terms of Leadership and Integrity. This includes:
- Possession of a current certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation Department.
- Holding a current tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.
- Providing a clean and current report from an approved credit reference Bureau (CRB).
- Presenting clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
- Providing a clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
