Job Title: Sales Team Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Sales team as a supervisor responsible for managing a team of field-based Market Developers. Your primary duties will involve monitoring your team’s performance, providing daily reports to the Territory Manager, and assisting in team training and recruitment when necessary.


  1. Revenue Generation:
    • Take ownership of the market’s commercial revenue targets.
    • Collaborate with the Area Manager to drive commercial activities aimed at meeting these targets.
    • Develop and implement Retail Trade Marketing (RTM) strategies to enhance market penetration.
    • Ensure that both the market and individual Market Developers achieve their revenue targets.
  2. Market Intelligence and Analysis:
    • Conduct regular market surveys and analysis to identify business opportunities.
    • Monitor competitor activities and understand customer dynamics.
    • Escalate customer feedback to management for necessary adjustments.
  3. Sales Effectiveness:
    • Coordinate with the Territory Manager to develop and execute key sales strategies.
    • Focus on driving 100% utilization of the duka App, optimizing product assortment, and reducing order cancellations.
    • Collaborate with the Fulfillment team to ensure timely and complete delivery of customer orders.
  4. Customer Onboarding:
    • Lead initiatives to onboard new Dukas to the Kyosk platform.
    • Oversee the retention of existing customers and promote our value proposition.
    • Establish relationships with new customers through recruitment and onboarding efforts.
  5. Customer Focus:
    • Guide the team in understanding customer needs and preferences.
    • Manage the entire Value Chain with professionalism to achieve results.
    • Coach the team in anticipating and addressing client needs promptly.
  6. People Management & Team Training:
    • Lead and oversee team performance to achieve targets.
    • Onboard and train new Market Developers on Sales Force Automation (SFA), Duka, and Agent Apps.
    • Keep the team well-informed about existing and new products and services.
  7. Reporting:
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on target achievements, commercial activities, competitor insights, and market trends.
    • Share these reports with the Territory Manager and Regional Commercial Manager to support informed decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • A professional qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience within the retail sector, with at least 1 year of team management experience.
  • Preferably, experience in handling alcoholic beverage sales.
  • Familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Solid knowledge of retail industry standards.
  • Confident and charismatic approach to working with people.
