Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of various research activities conducted by the team.
  2. Develop comprehensive research frameworks that clearly define research objectives, expected outcomes, and methodological choices, including study types, locations, and sample sizes.
  3. Create survey questionnaires, determine data collection methods, and remotely oversee data collection.
  4. Conduct basic cleaning and analysis of survey data.
  5. Effectively document qualitative data for reports and other impact communication materials.
  6. Efficiently perform literature reviews to collect relevant information, summarize, and synthesize findings.
  7. Develop assessment reports and independently produce high-quality knowledge products.
  8. Perform tasks such as translation, transcription, and document proofreading when needed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, or Environmental Studies.
  2. Minimum of one year of relevant work experience involving research, assessments, and reporting.
  3. At least one publication, preferably as the lead author of a research article in a reputable journal.
  4. Advanced understanding of research methodologies.
  5. Proficiency in compiling and analyzing qualitative data.
  6. Proficiency in quantitative data analysis using STATA or R is a plus.
  7. Strong planning, analytical, organizational, critical thinking, investigative, and decision-making skills.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.
  9. Self-motivated and capable of completing assignments without close supervision.
  10. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
