PROFILE INTRODUCTION

Our client in an oil and gas industry seeks to hire a Refueling Assistant who will be responsible for receiving of client products by trucks dipping of the storage to ensure accuracy of stocks whilst maintaining high safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Ensuring safe, quality fuel delivery to aircraft, achieving 100% compliance with the latest AFQRJOS checklist for each refueling.
  • Ensuring safe, quality, and timely fuel delivery to aircraft to achieve 100% on-time refueling and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring that all documentation for the transfer of products to customers is accurate and properly processed. Each refueling must have 100% accuracy in documentation.
  • Diagnosing and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic issues on hydrant servicers, resolving 90% within 24 hours.
    Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the fueling equipment according to MOCQAT procedures to ensure the equipment remains at least 90% operational.
  • Ensuring all fuel orders are correctly recorded in the provided forms to archive 100%
  • Accuracy in capturing inventory data for each refueling.
  • Knowing the positions and operations of emergency systems and equipment at the airport and on hydrant servicers to ensure 100% correct response in emergencies situations.
  • Ensuring 100% adherence and compliance to all airport/airside regulations by attending annual airport safety & security awareness refresher course and having valid airport access pass and driving permits at all times.
  • Reporting any anomaly or incident observed during refueling promptly, regardless of its perceived severity to ensure 100% reporting and addressing of such incidents.
  • Carrying out Meter reconciliation for sales at the end of each shift to ensure 100 % accountability of total meter movement for the shift.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and repairing issues related to control systems
  • Assisting in monitoring equipment performance data and identifying potential issues before they lead to major breakdowns.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
  • Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, spills, and other hazardous situations

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Diploma in a Technical field preferably in Automotive/Mechatronics
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field indicated.
  • 3 years Driving experience is a critical requirement, as the successful candidate will need to obtain the AA Driving Competency Certificate and the KAA Airside Driving Certificate.
