Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality and compliance.
• Unblock sinks and sewages when there is a blockage to ensure good and clean environment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure plumbing equipment and fixtures are functioning efficiently.
• Check functionality of water heating system and service when it’s due.
• Assist in extension of water pumping systems to other sections of the hospital.
• Maintain an appropriate record of repairs and replacements.
• Ensure that there is good flow of water from the main tank to all other areas.
• Assist in checking the flow of water in all sections in the hospital.
• Analyze problem and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair.
• Locate and repair issues with water supply e.g leaks
• Assist in developing, constructing, repairing and maintaining basic water storage.
• Any other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate in a plumbing course.
• At least 2 years’ hands on relevant experience.
