Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for the following key duties:
Purchases & Sales Administration
- Providing support to the commercial team in managing trade positions.
 - Handling profit and loss (PnL) reporting.
 - Contributing to market reports and market analysis.
 - Interacting with clients to some extent.
 - Collaborating with other LDC trade cycle support functions to ensure optimal execution and delivery.
 - Assisting in the recovery of accounts receivables.
 - Monitoring port lineups.
 - Acting as a trading assistant, including contract administration.
 - Developing and monitoring Regional Food Balance Sheets.
 
Experience
- Knowledge of commodity trading is advantageous.
 - Proficiency in Excel (formulation/models), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
 - Understanding of macro and microeconomics is a plus.
 - Ability to thrive under pressure and make quick decisions.
 - Efficient and accurate work ethic.
 - Willingness to learn on the job, adapt to a steep learning curve, and take on new work scopes.
