Summary of Role

We are looking for a technical implementation role, consisting of mainly co-designing, implementing and maintaining IT hardware and software, supporting operations to achieve data integrity all throughout the company.

Specific Responsibilities

1. ERPNext Software
   1. Assist CoS in defining requirements for the individual departmental modules
   2. Integration of the financial/accounting module with external payment solutions
   3. Collaborate with the financial controller to set up reports in the ERP
   4. Long-term responsibility of adjusting the modules to changing business requirements with support of the 3rd party implementer
   5. Support the CoS in training TTS employees in the correct usage of the ERP
2. Raspberry pi`s & scale digitization
   1. Support the CoS in managing the 3rd party implementation team for delivery of end-to-end integration of scales across various locations
3. Testing & troubleshooting
   1. Collaborate with TTS electricians for the upkeep/maintenance of the devices
4. CCTV security
   1. Propose CCTV locations & camera requirements in collaboration with the head of security
   2. Support 3rd party provider in selecting the ideal hardware
   3. Lead the TTS team of electricians/fundis to install the hardware
   4. Set-up a local CCTV monitoring room whilst providing suggestions on how to do so most effectively
   5. Collaborate with TTS electricians for the upkeep/maintenance of the devices
5. Biometric access control
   1. Support 3rd party provider in selecting the ideal hardware
   2. Support CoS in registering all TTS employees
   3. Lead the TTS team of electricians/fundis to install the hardware
   4. Testing & troubleshooting
   5. Collaborate with TTS electricians for the upkeep/maintenance of the devices
6. Starlink
   1. Manage/Lead the installation
   2. Set-up of data connectivity restrictions
   3. Collaborate with TTS electricians for the upkeep/maintenance of the devices
7.  Hardware repairs
   1. Diagnose, recommend and when possible, implement the repairs of company phones, tablets and laptops in collaboration with TTS electricians
   2. Collaborate with procurement to facilitate the above in a cost-efficient manner
8. IT Account management
   1. Set-up, maintenance and trouble-shooting for all company email and ERP accounts
   2. Set-up, maintenance and trouble-shooting for internal logistics software.
   3. Other suggestions/initiatives to improve data security via software solutions as needed​​​​

1. Diploma in Information Technology/Software or Electrical engineering
2. Prior experience in the following areas is a benefit
   1. ERPNext Frappe Framework
   2. Raspberry pi`s & scale digitization
   3. CCTV security
   4. Biometric access control
   5. Starlink
   6. Hardware repairs
   7. IT account management
   8. Complex thinking, understanding the interconnections of a digitalized industrial process
