APHRC seeks to recruit an ICT Support Officer to join a team of other IT professionals at the Center.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Monitoring of the helpdesk system and general user support within the office.
- Set up, configure and deploy hardware and software.
- Set up antivirus and provide day-to-day support.
- Prepare and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all IT hardware & software.
- Be familiar with ICT policies and ensure their implementation through staff awareness and training sessions.
- Manage the disaster recovery process and ensure regular daily backup is taken.
- Monitor and maintain proper inventory of all ICT hardware and software.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Have knowledge of a variety of hardware, software, and operating systems (e.g. Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and basic Linux operations).
- Have good knowledge of various hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills.
