About the job

  • Actively recruit new team members and manage the hiring process.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  • Implement performance management across the company.
  • Perform bi-annual performance reviews.
  • Manage the payroll and salary reviews.
  • Develop training and development programs for existing employees.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Day to day employee management (attendance, leave management, medical insurance management, disciplinary issues etc).
  • Implement strong employee compensation and retention schemes.
  • Manage employees welfare and drive the Solutech culture across the company.

Requirements

  • A degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Proper Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures in Kenya.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of any HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
