About the job
- Actively recruit new team members and manage the hiring process.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Implement performance management across the company.
- Perform bi-annual performance reviews.
- Manage the payroll and salary reviews.
- Develop training and development programs for existing employees.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Day to day employee management (attendance, leave management, medical insurance management, disciplinary issues etc).
- Implement strong employee compensation and retention schemes.
- Manage employees welfare and drive the Solutech culture across the company.
Requirements
- A degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Proper Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures in Kenya.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of any HRMS is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
