About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise patient rooms, ensuring all surfaces meet hospital hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness across office spaces, corridors, waiting areas, and other public sections of the facility
• Apply infection control procedures to prevent cross-contamination in all assigned areas
• Dispose of waste materials according to hospital safety and environmental protocols
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to supervisors promptly
• Stock and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed
• Work flexible schedules to ensure continuous facility coverage throughout operating hours

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate in Infection Control Practices in Housekeeping and Laundry (required)
• Food Handler Certificate (required)
• Certificate of Good Conduct (required)
• Minimum two years of practical experience in a service-oriented industry
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
• Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout an eight-hour shift
• Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines without exception
