Responsibilities

-To ensure all equipment, machinery is stored securely and clean after use.
-Plant and transplant flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
-Maintain gardens by naturally fertilizing, trimming, and making sure that plants are receiving adequate water.
-Prune trees and hedges in ways that help the plants’ health, are safe, and look good.
-Maintain lawn and grass areas using machinery, and natural fertilizers but no chemicals.
-Pruning and cutting hedges
-Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.
-Soil cultivation, digging and forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, seed sowing, bed preparation, and planting.

Qualifications
-At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role in a Hotel setting, preferably 4 Star or 5 Star Hotel
-Ability to handle a range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
-In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
-Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
-Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
-Self-motivated.
-Enthusiastic.
