Job Purpose:
Our primary goal is to empower students and support their academic growth, enabling them to reach their full potential by implementing the SABISĀ® curriculum and philosophy. This will be achieved through consistent utilization of the SABISĀ® teaching methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Utilize the provided lesson plans and, when necessary, create plans based on provided pacing charts for your subject(s) to facilitate teaching using the SABISĀ® point system.
- Exam Marking: Mark exams related to your subject in alignment with the provided schedule and materials from the department.
- Student Support: Address disciplinary issues and discuss student performance matters with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and the head of the department (HOD) as required.
- SABISĀ® Point System: Implement the SABISĀ® point system to create a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
- Exam Support: Assist with exam invigilation to ensure a well-managed testing environment.
- Academic Support: Provide assistance to academically struggling students, helping them improve and stay motivated to reach their potential.
- Exam Preparation: Develop and/or follow plans for preparing students for external exams by reviewing past papers according to the structured revision schedule (when applicable to specific grades).
- Additional Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities, which may include testing children, substituting for absent teachers, organizing students for meals and transportation, managing traffic, and other administrative tasks assigned by the school’s SABISĀ® management.
- Student Life Support: Prepare and participate in activity plans for student life-related events, such as art, open house, and physical education, in coordination with the student life coordinator.
- Training: Attend training sessions as required by the school management to enhance your understanding of the SABISĀ® system and improve your performance.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Undertake other related tasks or projects as delegated by the school’s SABISĀ® management.
Ideal Requirements:
ā¢ Bachelor’s degree in a related subject or equivalent. ā¢ Proficiency in English or native English speaker (subject-dependent). ā¢ PGCE certification is mandatory. ā¢ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. ā¢ Strong communication skills. ā¢ Ability to work effectively in a team.
