Primary Duties:

  1. Take part in recruitment and selection tasks, which involve creating, posting, and advertising job descriptions, reviewing applications, arranging and conducting candidate interviews, collaborating with hiring managers, providing hiring feedback, and generating hiring trend reports.
  2. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, which includes managing pre-onboarding paperwork, allocating workstations, overseeing HRIS onboarding and training, and assisting with health insurance enrollment.
  3. Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including coordinating clearance and handover processes with the Engineering and Operations teams, and conducting exit interviews.
  4. Maintain an efficient HR database, monitor employee life cycles, and produce regular and ad hoc reports on relevant metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism rates, and labor costs while ensuring data accuracy.
  5. Compile and organize payroll data in collaboration with line managers, focusing on precision, completeness, and punctuality. Handle mid-month and end-month payroll cycles, including statutory deduction submissions.
  6. Contribute to employee training and development initiatives, including conducting training sessions, coordinating external training programs, and keeping track of training records and the company’s training calendar.
  7. Participate in the creation, implementation, and communication of HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  8. Update and maintain Tushop’s career pages to accurately reflect the team’s culture.
  9. Supervise daily administrative tasks and activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of experience in a similar corporate HR role, preferably within manufacturing, retail, or a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems, Payroll Software, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Solid grasp of employment laws, HR best practices, and legal guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and the ability to handle employee confidentiality.
  • Effective organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent active listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and attentive to detail.
  • A people-oriented individual with outstanding interpersonal skills and a welcoming demeanor.
