Person specification:
For appointment to this grade the candidate must have:
- Diploma in the following fields; Community Health and Development, Nutrition, Social work or relevant qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Proficiency in computer application; and
- Clinical trial experience will be an added advantage
- Fulfil the requirement of Chapter Six of the constitution

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify potential study participants to be entered into research studies.
- Reports study enrollment progress on a regular basis
- Trace participants for follow-up clinics;
- Identify and support activities aimed at maintaining high retention of study participants
- Collecting and analyzing community health data for planning health care intervention programs;
- Mobilizing communities to identify health challenges to facilitate development of promotion materials;
- Participating in health education and promotion in the communities
- Working with health care teams as a community health resource person;
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time-to-time
Terms of Employment
- One (1) year renewable contract as per KEMRI scheme of service with a probation period for the first 3 months. Salary is as per the stated KEMRI scale.
