We are seeking dedicated General Workers/Support Staff who will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our weighbridge facility. This role is crucial to ensuring the facility meets cleanliness and safety standards while supporting the general upkeep of the grounds and facilities.

Requirements

• Educational Requirement:Minimum of D+ (Plus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.
• Compliance:Must fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
• Personal Attributes:Dependability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning:Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including restrooms, offices, windows, and common spaces. Tasks include emptying trash bins, dusting, and other routine cleaning duties.
• Weighbridge Area Maintenance:Keep the weighbridge facility clean and orderly, addressing any issues related to cleanliness and tidiness.
• Building and Grounds Upkeep:Ensure that floors, toilets, kitchens, and office spaces are thoroughly cleaned; maintain exterior areas such as gardens, ensuring they are litter-free and meet grooming standards.
• Drainage Maintenance:Regularly inspect and maintain drainage systems to prevent blockages and promote facility hygiene.
• Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks performed.
• Additional Responsibilities:Perform other duties as required by the Facilities Manager or other authorized personnel.
