Non-Teaching Roles

1. Admin/Receptionist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Administration, Business, or related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in administration or front office/reception work.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.

2. Librarian

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Library/Information Science or related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a school or institutional librarian.

• Strong ICT/computer literacy skills.

3. School Nurse

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.

• Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.

4. School Counsellor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, or related field.

• At least 3 years of counselling experience in an educational environment.

• Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.

5. Dom Patron

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education, Social Sciences, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a boarding school environment.

• Strong leadership, guidance, and student mentorship skills.

6. Cook

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Certificate in Catering or Food Production.

• At least 3 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in institutions.

• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and nutrition standards.

7. Steward

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality/Housekeeping.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and service delivery.

8. Lab Technician

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Laboratory Technology/Science.

• At least 3 years’ experience in a school or institutional laboratory.

• Proficiency in handling lab equipment, experiments, and safety procedures.

9. Janitors (2 Posts)

Qualifications:

• At least a KCSE Certificate.

• Minimum of 3 years of janitorial or cleaning services experience.

• Ability to maintain hygiene standards and perform general duties.

10. School Bursar

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business.

• Must hold CPA professional qualification.

• At least 3 years’ experience as a bursar, accountant, or finance officer.

• Strong financial reporting and budget management skills.

11. Ground Man

Qualifications:

• At least a KCSE Certificate.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.

• Ability to maintain school compounds and facilities.

Teaching Roles

General Qualifications for Subject Teachers:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a recognized institution.

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject.

• Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

• Evidence of participation in CBC/E training programs or TSC seminars.

• Strong understanding of competency-based teaching methodologies.

• Demonstrated leadership, planning, and academic tracking skills.
