As a Telesales Agent at Peach, you’ll be the first point of contact for people looking to buy or sell a vehicle through our platform. Your job is to engage high-intent leads, assess their needs, build trust, and qualify them before handing them over to our Sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specifically, the Telesales Agent at Peach can expect to undertake the below listed tasks:

  • Clearly explain the Peach process, value proposition, and next steps to ensure full lead understanding
  • Engage with warm leads (buyers and/or sellers) via phone and WhatsApp who have shown interest in buying or selling a car through Peach Cars.
  • Qualify buyer leads by understanding their vehicle preferences, timeline, budget, and financing needs.
  • Qualify seller leads by gathering accurate details about their vehicle, pricing expectations, and readiness to sell..
  • Convert leads into qualified appointments or active opportunities for the Sales team
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily lead conversion targets, while maintaining call quality and professionalism.
  • Use internal tools and CRMs to log call outcomes, schedule follow-ups, and ensure accurate lead tracking.
  • Flag and escalate unresponsive or time-sensitive leads to relevant team members.
  • Share feedback regularly to improve scripts, lead quality, and the customer experience.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 2+ years of telesales, call center, or phone-based customer engagement experience, ideally in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to qualify and convert high-intent leads into actionable outcomes.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.  You can handle objections and build trust quickly.
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented.  You enjoy hitting (and beating) your targets.
  • Familiarity with using CRMs, lead tracking tools, or call scripts.
  • Comfortable using WhatsApp, phone systems, and internal dashboards to manage outreach and follow-ups.
  • Experience in auto sales, tech-enabled services, or marketplaces is a strong plus.
  • Strong time management and personal accountability. You’re reliable and follow through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Team player who takes initiative, shares insights, and is open to feedback.
  • Positive, professional, and solution-oriented mindset
