- The study will be conducted in June and July 2025 across 11 counties: Narok, Turkana, Wajir, West Pokot, Tana River, Trans Nzoia, Marsabit, Bomet, Kwale, Nairobi, and Mombasa.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer surveys using KoBoCollect or related platforms.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with health care workers.
- Transcribe audio recordings from interviews verbatim.
- Perform data entry, cleaning, and verification to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Support other administrative tasks related to the project.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Community Health, Anthropology, Population Studies/Demography, Statistics, Epidemiology, Community Development, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting surveys, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals during data collection is an added advantage.
- Must be a resident of at least one of the listed counties.
- Must be willing to travel to other counties and spend up to 20 consecutive days away from their home location.
- Proven skills in quantitative data collection and analysis; familiarity with STATA, SPSS, or R is required.
- Proven skills in qualitative data collection and analysis; familiarity with Nvivo or Atlas.ti is required.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse team.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
