Sales Executive at Adept Technologies – Adept Technologies Kenya Job Details
Job Title: Sales Executive
Department: Sales
Reports to: Business Development Executive
Direct Reports: None
Job Purpose
To drive sales growth and increase brand presence through effective business development and client engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities from various sources including client meetings, referrals, tenders, and industry networking.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition.
- Create a comprehensive sales playbook to govern the full sales cycle.
- Accurately forecast revenue streams for the department.
- Analyze customer research, market conditions, and competitor trends.
- Prepare proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and track progress using CRM tools.
- Follow up on existing leads and generate new ones through marketing efforts such as cold calling and direct outreach.
- Ensure high brand visibility and positioning through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction through approved organizational tools and policies.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, and other internal departments to ensure the feasibility and support of proposed solutions.
- Adhere to company policies, industry best practices, and brand standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Experience & Personal Attributes Required
- Degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in IT, BPO, or Contact Centre Services.
- Strong track record in B2B sales, business development, and high-value deal closure.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and best practices.
- Strong planning skills and ability to generate comprehensive reports.
- High levels of self-motivation, accountability, and results orientation.
- Ability to work independently and proactively to meet targets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Lead conversion rate and successful deal closures.
- Customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction with minimal complaints and high engagement levels.
- Efficiency in sales execution, measured by the completeness and success of the sales cycle.
- Timely and accurate reporting on sales metrics, including leads, prospects, conversions, and sales cycle durations.
