Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk Intern to join our finance team. The intern will assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including data entry, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial administration and learn key accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Process and track invoices and payments
• Support month-end and year-end accounting procedures
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
• Prepare and update financial reports as needed
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed CPA (Minimum of a pass intermediate level)
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an advantage
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Duration: 6 months

Stipend: KES 20,000 per month
