Security Guard at Nairobi West Hospital Ltd – Nairobi West Hospital Ltd Kenya Job Details
Ensure tight security of the hospital and its environs as well as monitoring surveillance equipment’s.
Academic and professional qualifications
- Hold a High school certificate with a minimum of D plain.
- Certificate of good conduct
- At least 2 years of prior experience preferred.
Other added advantages
- Good body physique
- Be between 23 to 50 years
- Good report written skills
Roles & Responsibilities
- Track and check all inward and outward equipment’s and record the same.
- Ensure all visitors, staffs, patients/clients, suppliers go through the security check and sanitize at the entrance and that they maintain social distance as well as have face masks worn correctly at all time.
- Assist staffs with unruly visitors and patients.
- Make sure personnel and premises are safe by regularly patrolling the hospital and its enviros.
- Ensuring protection of all company assets to ensure they are always secured and accounted for.
- Ensuring that all security incidences are attended to in real time and escalated as soon as possible where need be.
- Management and checking of all incoming/outgoing vehicles and other traffic within the premises.
- Respond to alarms and follow procedures in cases of emergencies.
- Monitor, manage, control and record all CCTVs footages across the hospital and its environs.
- Carry out duty patrol across the hospital as per the set standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all patients have signed gate pass before leaving the wards.
- Record all daily incidences and accidents on the occurrence book and notify relevant departmental heads.
- Ensure compliance with the set standard operating procedures.
- Report any gaps that might lead to theft of hospital property and work closely with law enforcement institutions to gather information of any security risks to the hospital
- Any other duty that may be assigned.
