Responsibilities: Community Engagement Team

• Conduct village-level community entry meetings with the assistance of the village elder.
• Collaborate with the village elder to compile the village list, essential for census team operations.
• Identify potential risks before commencing enrollment activities within the village.
• Update the community engagement trackers with meeting outcomes.

Responsibilities: Census Team

• Engage with village elders and guides to comprehend village boundaries.
• Collaborate with team members to visit each household within the village.
• Conduct accurate and high-quality census surveys using Taroworks for eligible households.
• Synchronize collected data daily after field activities.
• Provide a summary of the day’s progress to the AFM (or designated personnel), assisting in risk management.

Responsibilities: Registration Team

• Communicate GiveDirectly’s program details to eligible households.
• Distribute cell phones as needed and report issuance to the office.
• Identify and exclude ineligible households.
• Perform precise and top-quality registration surveys using Taroworks for eligible households.
• Synchronize collected data daily after field activities.
• Provide a summary of the day’s progress to the AFM (or designated personnel), assisting in risk management.

Responsibilities: Audit Team

• Identify and exclude ineligible households.
• Conduct thorough and accurate audit surveys using Taroworks for eligible households.
• Synchronize collected data daily after field activities.
• Provide a summary of the day’s progress to the AFM (or designated personnel), assisting in risk management.

*Note: Although you will be assigned to one of these teams, re-allocations may occur as needed by the Associate Field Manager or their designee.

Requirements

We are seeking individuals who are fluent in ‘GIRIAMA’ from the Coastal region and “MAA” speakers from the Ilchamus/Njemps community. Candidates should demonstrate empathy, honesty, and the highest standards of integrity. A strong interest in advancing GiveDirectly’s unique values and mission is essential. Physical fitness and the ability to adapt to challenging weather conditions and terrain are required. Candidates must exhibit patience and sound judgment in resolving recipient-related issues. Recent graduates (those who graduated in the past 2 years) are at an advantage.
