Book Bunk
About Us
Book Bunk is a social impact firm working in partnership with various agencies to restore public libraries including architectural renovation, archive restoration and the development of programming. Our flagship project is the full restoration of McMillan Memorial Library (Nairobi’s oldest) and two of its branches in Eastlands; Eastlands Library in Makadara and Kaloleni Library. We imagine that libraries can become more than repositories, seeing them as heritage sites from where public memory, public discourse and cultural engagement thrive.
