ICT ASSISTANT – REF KFS/ICTA/2024 – KFS GRADE 9 – (10) POSITIONS
Entry Requirements :

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.
• Membership in good standing of the relevant recognized professional body
• Proficiency in Computer applications.
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Duties and responsibilities

• Installing, configuring and maintaining computer applications on ICT equipment (new/existing);
• Provide support to service desk operations;
• Maintain, upgrade and carry out system administration of anti-virus products to secure the Service’s network from attacks;
• Logging user problems, document solutions after resolving them;
• Providing end user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities;
• Promote public values and principles
• Mentoring and coaching
