We are currently seeking a dependable Debt Collector to engage with debtors and facilitate the settlement of outstanding debts with their creditors. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently recover owed funds within the shortest possible timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned accounts to identify unresolved debts
• Devise strategies to effectively retrieve outstanding payments
• Locate and communicate with debtors to inquire about their payment status
• Negotiate deadlines for repayments or establish feasible payment arrangements
• Address inquiries and grievances professionally
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies
• Cultivate trusting relationships with debtors, mitigating potential future issues
• Regularly update the account status and maintain an accurate database
• Notify supervisors when debtors are unwilling or unable to make payments, as necessary
• Adhere to legal requirements when pursuing unavoidable legal actions

Requirements and Skills

• Proven track record in debt collection
• Familiarity with meeting targets under tight deadlines
• Understanding of relevant legal prerequisites
• Proficiency in using MS Office and managing databases
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in negotiation and persuasion techniques
